BEACHES, TRAILS & KAUAI LIFE
Princeville Makai Golf Club is a key amenity to the Princeville community. Extensive $6 million renovation was completed in 2010 lead by the well-known golf legend, Mr. Robert Trent Jones Jr. The Makai Course has climbed to the top of all respected rankings, received numerous recognitions of excellency and continues to maintain its rank to the day. It is placed amongst the Top 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses in America, by Golf Digest, within the Top 3 Best Courses You Can Play in Hawaii by Golf Week and it is listed as one of America’s “Top 5 Great Golf Settings” in the world by National Geographic Traveler.The Princeville Makai Tennis Courts are open for Member Play Only from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Members need to reserve their 90-minute court time in advance by calling (808) 826-1863 prior to showing up at the facility. Players must bring their own tennis equipment.
Princeville Community Center & Park provides a variety of outdoor fitness and group sports activities, including children’s playground at Prince Albert’s Park. Strategic spots for swimming and snorkeling are found at the sheltered beaches of Pu’u and Hideaway’s, where swimming among turtles and curious fish become unforgettable times. Princeville Night Market brings live music, unique local arts and crafts, every second Sunday of each month. Newly opened Princeville farmer’s market happens every Sunday at 9 am.
